Chemical Peels

What are Chemical Peels?

A chemical peel is a technique used to improve the appearance of the skin and diminish the signs of aging. A chemical solution is applied to the skin which causes it to exfoliate and eventually peel off. The new, regenerated skin is usually smoother with fewer lines and wrinkles, a more even skin color, and a brighter complexion. Downtime can vary depending on which treatment is done.

MicroPeel Sensitive
  • Superficial Exfolation
  • GREAT FOR SENSITIVE SKIN
  • 2% Lactic: Hydrating acid for an immediate skin benefit and “red carpet glow”.  Acts as a humectant to bind water in the skin for an immediate increase in smoothness and hydration.
  • 2% Niacinamide
  • Phytic Acid: for additional brightening, with additional antioxidant properties to fight free radical damage. Ideal for problematic skin to reduce the appearance of pores and blemishes.
  • Phenol
  • Glycolic Acid: the gold standard AHA for gentle, effective exfoliation. Derived from sugar cane although now generally synthesized for clinical use. Smallest AHA molecule allows the deepest (superficial) penetration
  • Increases epidermal cellular turnover, to stimulate collagen
  • Supports the skin’s natural production of structural proteins
  • Improves the appearance of epidermal lines, pigmentation, and pore size
  • Results will show radiant looking skin after just one peel but for great results, we recommend a package of 3 peels to be done one month apart.
