Halo™

BBL™ + Halo™ can be combined to maximize benefits.

While BBL works wonders in treating redness, broken capillaries, brown spots from aging, active life-styles and sun damage… combining it with the Halo™ laser, which targets pigment, fine lines, pore size, tone and texture, you will get a complete skin rejuvenation treatment.

Breathtaking Results. Award-Winning Technology.

HALO is the world’s only Hybrid Fractional Laser that delivers a non-ablative and an ablative wavelength simultaneously to the same microscopic treatment zone.

As Sciton’s premier technology, HALO combines these two wavelengths to create a strong synergistic effect, resulting in unmatched improvement in the visible signs of skin aging, including fine line and wrinkles, discoloration, the appearance of pores, and acne scars.

HALO uses the ablative wavelengths to target and treat the skin for surface-level conditions such as textural issues and pore size. By creating small thermal injuries in the skin, this kickstarts production of new, healthy skin for visible results in a short period of time. The non-ablative wavelength targets deeper sun damage and other dermal pigmentary issues while stimulating new collagen production. Together, these wavelengths provide both short-term results and long-term benefits to a wide variety of patients.

Together, these wavelengths provide both short-term results and long-term benefits to a wide variety of patients.

HALO can treat all skin types and can be used anywhere on the body.

This treatment can be combined with BBL in the same treatment to target the surface damage (red and brown) as well as going deep to target underlying pigmentation that is beneath the surface of the skin that will otherwise surface as we continue to age. This will also improve the skin’s texture, fine lines and pore size, which BBL alone wouldn’t do.

What Patients Can Expect

Patients treated with HALO experience an improvement frequently referred to as “the HALO Glow.”

You can start to see change just after ONE treatment due to its fractionated nature. We recommend a series of two HALO treatments to help achieve your goals. We advise to follow up annually with at least one single HALO per year, or we can set up a personalized future treatment plan for you to maintain your best result!

Intense burning, redness, warmth and a sunburned sensation are normal responses following HALO treatment generally lasting 2-4 hours after your treatment. Ibuprofen or Advil can be taken as directed for pain. Ask us about our Growth Factor Masks, Phyto Essence Mist & Tissue Repair Gel to help speed up recovery and nourish the skin post procedure

Patients will also be given a post procedure topical wash and moisturizer to use at home for the next 5 days

No Sun exposure for about 2 weeks after treatment. ELTA MD SPF is recommended

Patients can NOT wear makeup for at least 3 days or until tiny MENDS form

Peeling and flaking generally occur within 24 hours post treatment and should be allowed to come off naturally. Peeling can continue for 3-5 days post treatment. DO NOT PICK, RUB, OR FORCE OFF ANY SKIN DURING THE HEALING PROCESS, THIS COULD RESULT IN SCARRING, PIGMENTATION COMPLICATIONS AND INFECTION! Gently washing the skin more frequently will help to promote the peeling process

Sunscreen should be used daily beginning the day after treatment and used vigilantly for up to 3 months post procedure. Use recommended mineral sunscreen with broadband protection (UVA and UVB) and a sun protection factor (SPF) of at least 30. Do not use a chemical sunscreen until the MENDS form. Reapply sunscreen every 2 hours.

If direct sun exposure is necessary, wear a hat and clothing that covers the treated area. If treated area is exposed to sun (direct or indirect) blistering, scarring, hyperpigmentation or hypo-pigmentation can / will occur. Sun exposure should be avoided for 2 months post treatment.
